The idea for this piece came straight from one of my own dreams. I wouldn’t call it a nightmare, it was too intriguing, too erotic for that. As always, the scene is all about a beautiful woman caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. The creature started as a snake… but quickly refused to stay one. Personally, I’ve never been really scared of snakes – I think they’re cute. So I stripped away the iconic snake scales and patterns on purpose. Instead, I wanted something more,
wrong. The body leans closer to a worm: segmented, heavy, like something that burrows. Less elegant and far more disturbing. The spikes are there to break any remaining sense of softness. Snakes are usually fluid and graceful, these spikes interrupt that flow. They suggest pain before contact even happens. Finally, I even got rid of the eyes. Eyes create empathy. They suggest thought, intention, maybe even emotion. I didn’t want that in this piece. This creature doesn’t
see, it only senses. Removing the eyes makes it feel more primal and insect-like, something that operates on instinct alone. It doesn’t recognize Sasha as a person, only as presence, something to consume. Obviously, this creature doesn’t have a penis. But to make up for it, it has a long and skillful tongue, (one feature of the snake I did keep). As a result, the scene is all about oral action. Sasha stops resisting quickly, in a moment where survival instincts blur with desire, curiosity, or acceptance.

Part 2 and the video will be added later this month. I’ll include the high res download files once the entire set is ready.
