
It was 3 a.m.. Ashley could tell by the position of the moon. The glowing orb was briefly visible around this time through the barred window inside her dungeon. Like every night, the signal of the moon was promptly followed by the scratching sound of a wooden crate, slowly being pushed over the stone dungeon floor, until it came to a halt, right in between Ashley’s legs.
