After nearly 3 months of jungle research, the expedition had yet to report any worthwhile findings. Funds were running low, and returning home without anything to show for would most certainly mean the end of Donna’s career. Desperate, she ventured into the deep heart of the jungle all on her own, the only area they had not yet explored.
