The bass from the club still throbbed in my skull as I stumbled out into the cool night, kicking off one heel for a second just to give my aching feet a break. My dress had cost far too much to end the night wandering around looking for a taxi, but every street I checked was empty. Typical. I groaned and started walking.

About halfway through a dim lit alley, I walked straight into a wall of stench. “Oh—Jesus!” I nearly threw up. The smell was unbelievable. Rotting food, sour milk, mould, wet cardboard, old fish, sewage… it was like every disgusting thing I’d ever smelled had been blended together and left to ferment in the summer sun! I gagged so hard my eyes watered.

I pinched my nose and looked around. The dumpsters lining the alley were overflowing, but one of them… moved. I blinked. “Nope, it’s not real.” The metal lid rattled.”Nope, nope, this isn’t really happening.” It slowly lifted… Something climbed out!

At first my brain insisted it was just a homeless person. Then I noticed its arm wasn’t an arm at all. It was garbage. “What the actual fuck?!” Black bin bags twisted together like muscles. Rusty cans embedded where bones should’ve been. Banana peels hung from it in slimy strips. Coffee grounds, greasy pizza boxes, mouldy newspapers, plastic wrappers… every filthy thing I’d ever tossed away was somehow stitched into a shambling body. I stared. “…I’m still drunk.” That had to be it. “There is no way.” I even laughed, because what else do you do when your brain decides to invent a walking rubbish monster?

Then the wind shifted. The smell hit me again. I doubled over, coughing. No. No hallucination had ever smelled like this. That stink was real! The thing turned toward me. A broken bottle caught the moonlight where one of its eyes should’ve been. It started walking! Crunch. Crinkle. Squish. Every step sounded damp.”Oh my God… oh my God…”I backed away until my shoulders slammed against the brick wall. “Help!” I called. “HEY! SOMEBODY HELP ME!”

The creature stopped right in front of me. I squeezed my eyes shut. This was it. I was about to be killed by sentient rubbish. But instead……it grabbed me tight.”…What?” Its soggy arms wrapped around. “Oh my God—EEW!” Cold banana peels squished against my bare shoulder. I shrieked.”No, no, no!” Wet newspapers plastered themselves across my back. Slimy lettuce slid down the front of my dress. Something sticky—please don’t let it be old yoghurt, please don’t let it be old yoghurt—smeared into my hair. “GET OFF YOU FILTHY FREAK!” I shoved at it.

The creature made a low, rumbling sound while it was, smelling me? “What is WRONG with you?!” It squeezed tighter. Greasy takeaway boxes burst somewhere behind me, warm sludge soaking into the side of my dress. “My dress!”That stupid thought somehow came before anything else. “No! Not my perfect dress!”

The smell surrounded me completely now. I couldn’t escape it. It filled my nose, coated my tongue, crawled into my lungs. I gagged again and tears streamed down my face—not from fear anymore, but pure disgust. The world began to tilt. I felt dizzy, my vision blurring into a haze of grey brick and neon light. I tried to push away, but my muscles felt like wet noodles, heavy and unresponsive. I felt a sharp tug at my neckline, the sound of expensive silk shrieking as it gave way. With a wet, rhythmic rip, the creature tore the dress right off my body, shredding the fabric into useless ribbons. I wanted to scream, to fight, to claw my way out of that suffocating embrace, but the smell completely smothered my willpower.

I’m not sure what happened next. Maybe I just gave up. Maybe my mind, unable to process the horror of being stripped bare by a pile of sentient waste, decided to rewrite the narrative in real-time. I could almost convince myself that this was just a fever dream, or that the alcohol had finally peaked, turning this nightmare into a clumsy, drunken encounter with some strange guy in a dark alley. Either way, I stopped fighting. I leaned into the dampness, letting the grit of the city press against my skin, and in a sudden, desperate bid for some kind of normalcy, I leaned forward and kissed it.

I immediately knew I made a mistake. A low, guttural vibration rattled through its chest like a hungry, horny growl. It hoisted me off my feet and slammed me face-first into a container of overflowing garbage bags, my ass up for the taking. And take me it did. It hammered into me with a wet, slapping sound, the friction of its trash-woven body scraping against my skin like sandpaper. It was the most humiliating experience of my life—getting absolutely railed in a blind alley while smelling like a sewage leak.

Every time I tried to scream, I just inhaled more filth. My moans were muffled, swallowed by the suffocating layers of plastic wrap and soggy food wrappings that cushioned my face. The impact of its weight drove the air from my lungs, leaving me gasping for breath in a cloud of sulfur. It didn’t stop, didn’t slow down; it just kept pounding into me with a rhythmic, squelching intensity, its movements as mindless and relentless as a trash compactor.

When it finally hauled my head out of the bags, I expected a moment of oxygen, but the creature had other plans. It gripped my jaw with a hand made of hardened grime and forced my mouth open. Before I could recoil, it shoved something thick and dripping into my throat. It wasn’t just flesh; it felt like a wet, textured pipe made of compressed sludge and recycled rubber. I gagged violently, my stomach churning while it made me suck it off.

It began to pump a thick, greyish slurry into my mouth, a viscous liquid that smelled like a chemical spill in a fish market. “Stop, please! I can’t take any more!” But t didn’t listen to my pleads. The slurry slid down my throat in warm, heavy gulps, forcing me to swallow or drown in the filth.

Something in me snapped. Whether it was the cocktail of cheap tequila or the sheer, overwhelming scale of the degradation, the panic simply evaporated. I stopped fighting and went limp, staring up at the sliver of moonlight between the buildings. I felt the creature’s jagged, trash-woven body grind against me, the friction burning my skin, and I just let it happen. I surrendered to the wet, slapping rhythm and the suffocating stench, letting the monster have its nasty ways with me until my mind went blank.

I woke up when the sun was about to rise. I was lying on my back, staring at the underside of a rusted fire escape, my limbs heavy and coated in a shimmering, iridescent film of oil and slime. A crushed soda can was pressed against my cheek, and a shredded piece of a plastic tarp was draped over my legs like a mockery of a blanket. Every inch of my skin felt tacky, smelling of old brine and chemical runoff.

“So you see, officer, I’m certain someone slipped something into my drink.” I rubbed my temples as I sat beneath the harsh lights of the police station. “I know how it sounds, but there must be something wrong with the results of your drug test! I’m SURE someone drugged me, and I want whoever’s responsible caught!”

The idea for this piece started with a simple question: What is the most disgusting creature I could possibly come up with? I’ve already gone through many of the usual horror ideas: creatures with claws, monsters with too many teeth, terrifying slime-covered beings… But then I thought: What about… trash?

It was almost too simple. 🤣 And maybe that was exactly why it worked! A creature made entirely out of rubbish: banana peels, old newspapers, broken bottles, food scraps, plastic bags… The more I imagined it, the better the idea became. Everyone knows that horrible smell. Everyone has opened a bin and instantly regretted it. 🤢 Now imagine a pretty babe actually getting FUCKED by it! That has to be the absolute peak of disgust and humiliation. 😍

The other fun part was creating the contrast with Monroe, the main character. She has dressed up, gone out, and probably spent hours making herself look perfect—only for this impossible creature to crawl out of a dumpster and completely destroy that image in the most disgusting way possible. Gotta love it. 😈

I had a lot of fun creating this creature and exploring just how gross I could make it. 🗑️✨ Here’s a sketch if you want to see how the Trash Monster started out. And remember: always take out your trash… because one day, your trash might decide to take you out. 😜
