The young girl loved her weekly stroll through the forest. This morning, however, Simone discovered that her usual path was blocked by fallen trees and debris caused by the storm that raged past week. She decided to take an unfamiliar, rougher route through a rocky area.
The path was dangerous and steep. After a leap, the earth beneath her suddenly gave way, and Simone plunged into a hidden cavern below. Her screams echoed as she fell into the deep abyss, bracing for the inevitable impact.
But to her surprise, she didn’t crash onto the hard ground. Instead, she found herself enveloped in a thick, silky web that cushioned her fall. She breathed a sigh of relief, thanking God for miraculously surviving the fall.
As her eyes adjusted to the dim light filtering from above, she saw the web stretched out around her, shimmering faintly. Her relief quickly turned to dread when she noticed movement in the shadows…
